This chocolate smoothie bowl is perfect to start the day filled with energy or refuel after a great workout. It’s filled with cacao, coconut meat, plant protein, lucuma, vanilla, cinnamon and baobab..so delicious!
Raw cacao is great to relax muscles thanks to its magnesium content; coconut meat gives it a mousse like texture and adds great anti inflammatory properties along with fibre and healthy fats that are converted into energy in the body; plant based protein powder is perfect to repair and build muscle fibres; banana and lucuma bring carbs necessary to replenish glucose and release insulin to absorb the amino acids in protein along with B vitamins for energy and baobab is a rich source of vitamin C which is an essential antioxidant for our body. So you can be in chocolate heaven while nourishing and replenishing your body!
1 1/2 cup of coconut water
1/2 cup of coconut meat, defrosted
1/2 banana, frozen
1 tbsp of raw cacao powder
1 tsp of baobab powder
1 tbsp of lucuma powder
2 scoops of vanilla pea protein
1 tsp vanilla powder
To decorate: coconut chips, hazelnuts, fresh fruit if you want or cacao nibs, anything you like
Place the coconut water in a blender or food processor and add the rest of the ingredients.
Blend until smooth and fluffy.
Pour into your favourite serving bowl and decorate with your favourite toppings. Enjoy!
