Everyone experiences an off day every now and then, whether because we’re in a bad mood or we’re feeling low in energy or someone made us angry or simply we had a bit of bad news.
It’s easy to get stuck in this bad mood all day and let it affects us but there are a few simple things we can do to lift our mood in a flash.

Essential oils can produce a powerful effect on the body when their aromas are inhaled stimulating brain regions that influence emotions helping to calm the mind and lift the mood.
Try lemon essential oil that is able to enhance positive mood by increasing the levels of norepinephrine (a brain chemical involved in mood regulation) or lavender essential oil which is known to help reducing stress and ease insomnia. Rosemary essential oil is a great option too especially during long office or school hours as it’s very energising and able to increase alertness and improve cognitive performance.
