I love using essential oils for keeping my skin healthy and glowing. They work as well as expensive products on the market but without any harmful chemicals or preservatives.
The following are some of my favourite ones. I use rose, jojoba and argan oils daily and sea buckthorn and avocado oils when i feel like i need some extra moisture and hydration. Let me tell you a bit more about their amazing properties.
Rose oil is great for dry or ageing skin and for minimising fine lines and scars. It can regenerate cells and increase collagen production. It’s rich in vitamin C, omega 3s and omega 6s fatty acids which are known to help wound healing and heal scar tissue and its high retinoic acid content makes it a perfect aid to reduce the appearance of wrinkles and brighten skin.
It also contains antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory compounds that not only refine skin texture and tone but are helpful to manage conditions such as psoriasis and dermatitis.
